Prostate Specific Antigen (Psa)

Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a glycoprotein produced by cells of the prostate that circulates freely in the blood. The Free PSA test measures the amount of unbound PSA in the blood, helping physicians identify issues such as prostate inflammation or tumors. Elevated PSA levels can be associated with conditions like prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
